Position Purpose

Associated Credit Union is always looking for qualified tech savvy individuals who want to work in the financial services industry. ACU (Associated Credit Union) is one of the nation's top credit unions with over $2.2 billion in assets, 19 branch locations, and 22 ITMs (interactive teller machines). 

As a MuleSoft Developer, you will play a vital role at Associated Credit Union. We are looking for an individual that can help us continually improve, build, and enhance our MuleSoft API’s and integrations with the Salesforce platform and beyond, create value for internal users and enhance the member experience. The right candidate can potentially become one of the lead developers as we build out our ecosystem in the coming years.

Essential Functions & Core Duties

Responsibilities

• API Development and implementation of integration build outs and enhancements. 
• Working with MuleSoft API integrations, currently with Symitar and Meridian Link with potential others to be added in the future.
• Working with batch API processing and Event Flow Control API processes.
• Identify and validate the key business requirements to ensure accurate development with cross team and departmental conversations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deliverable ebbs and flows; Agile mindset.
• Ability to work with the SF Developer and other IT developers to establish best practices and overall architecture and recommendations.
• Striving towards coding best practices and data quality.
• Contributing to technical documentation.
• Helping to guide the overall enterprise by providing effective input.
• Help in reviewing existing integrations and make appropriate recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s/Postgraduate degree, a professional qualification, or equivalent experience
• At least 1-3 years of Salesforce MuleSoft and API development experience

Core Competencies:

• MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1
• Salesforce platform (preferred with Financial Service Cloud) and MuleSoft AnyPoint product knowledge.
• Knowledge, experience, and usage of DataWeave 2.0 for data transformation.
• Experience in using Postman for Testing and Quality Assurance.
• Experience with code deployment from one environment to another and version control using GitLab, Bitbucket, GitHub, or similar code repository platforms for DevOps capabilities.
• Experience with each release cycle to implement and deploy new/updates to existing applications and code.
• Experience with data mapping from external systems to help integrate with the Salesforce platform.
• Ability to observe, evaluate, summarize, and apply meaningful input in the required implementations.
• Attentiveness to Detail demonstrates keenness while exploring the issue or topic at hand as well as issues surrounding it and reasons behind it. 

Highly Desirable:

• Experience working with a small team and learning as you go
• MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 2
• MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect – Level 1
• Additional Salesforce certifications e.g., Certified Salesforce Administrator, Certified JavaScript Developer
• Experience with Marketing Cloud
